TE Connectivity 35kV 600A Insulating Cap

TE Connectivity’s (TE) Raychem Deadbreak Insulation Caps for 600/900A are available in the 35 kV class. The insulating caps provide insulated protection for energized 35 kV deadbreak interfaces. 

They are frequently used temporarily or permanently within  pad-mount cabinets, underground vaults, switchgear, transformers, and other apparatus. Typical applications include system maintenance, circuit reconfiguration, and future expansion. 

A fully shielded, submersible connection is offered, with conformance to IEEE Standard 386 - 2016. These insulating caps are interchangeable with other manufacturers’ products that comply with this standard.
